Using the Japanese principles of Shibumi these simple works aim to encourage the viewer to pause and experience the essence of the subject matter.
The subject matter in this collections is the luminosity and shapes cast by the morning light. Created during lockdown and through the BLM protests, they also convey a sense of hope coming through oppressive darkness.
